These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to chincrime.pro and your use of services provided by ChinCrime Studio Pte. Ltd. ("ChinCrime Studio", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or our services.

1. About ChinCrime Studio

ChinCrime Studio Pte. Ltd. is a company registered in Singapore (UEN 202780495M) providing brand strategy, content and creative services. Our registered address is 151 Chin Swee Road, #09-04 Manhattan House, Singapore 169876.

2. Meaning of the name "ChinCrime"

The trade name "ChinCrime" and domain chincrime.pro are wordplay derived from Chin Swee Road, the street where our studio is located. The name is not intended to reference, promote, glorify or associate with criminal activity, law enforcement matters, or any illegal conduct. ChinCrime Studio is a legitimate brand and content agency. We make this clarification explicit in these Terms because the name may be misinterpreted without context. Nothing on our website constitutes legal advice, criminal defence services, or any service related to unlawful activity. Clients and visitors who misinterpret the name do so against our stated positioning; we accept no liability for assumptions made in disregard of our published explanations.

3. Website use

You may access and browse chincrime.pro for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

• Use the site in any way that violates applicable laws in Singapore or your jurisdiction;
• Attempt unauthorised access to our systems, servers or data;
• Transmit malware, spam or harmful code through our contact form or any channel;
• Scrape, crawl or harvest content or data from the site without our written permission;
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us;
• Use our name, branding or content to imply endorsement without consent.

We may suspend or restrict access to the website at any time for maintenance, security or legal reasons without notice.

4. Professional services

Descriptions of services on this website are general information, not binding offers. A client relationship begins only when both parties sign a written proposal, statement of work or service agreement ("Client Agreement") specifying scope, deliverables, fees, timeline and other terms. Where a Client Agreement conflicts with these website Terms regarding paid services, the Client Agreement prevails.

We provide brand strategy, visual identity direction, content systems, campaign creative and related editorial services. We do not guarantee specific business outcomes such as revenue, follower growth or search rankings unless explicitly stated in a signed Client Agreement — and even then, such guarantees are subject to the limitations stated therein.

5. Enquiries and contact form

Information you submit through our contact form or email is handled per our Privacy Policy. Submitting a brief does not create a client relationship or obligate us to accept a project. We reserve the right to decline any enquiry at our discretion, including for capacity, conflict, scope mismatch or fit.

6. Intellectual property — website

All content on chincrime.pro — including text, graphics, logos, layout, photography and code — is owned by ChinCrime Studio or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial reference. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display or commercially exploit our website content without our prior written consent, except as permitted by fair dealing or other applicable law.

The ChinCrime name, logo and associated branding are trade identifiers of ChinCrime Studio Pte. Ltd. Unauthorised use may violate trademark law.

7. Intellectual property — client work

Ownership of deliverables created for clients is governed by the applicable Client Agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, upon receipt of full payment the client owns final approved deliverables specifically created for them. We retain ownership of pre-existing materials, methodologies, tools, templates and know-how used to create deliverables, and grant the client a licence to use such embedded materials as part of the deliverables.

We retain the right to display completed work in our portfolio, case studies and credentials unless the client requests confidentiality in writing before project commencement and we agree. Process work, unused concepts and draft materials remain our property unless the Client Agreement states otherwise.

8. Client responsibilities

Clients agree to provide timely feedback, accurate information, necessary access to brand assets and approvals within agreed timeframes. Delays in client-side input may extend project timelines without additional liability on our part. Clients warrant they have rights to materials they supply and that our use of those materials per the project scope will not infringe third-party rights.

9. Fees and payment

Fees are specified in the Client Agreement. Unless stated otherwise, invoices are due within fourteen days. We may charge interest on overdue amounts at a rate permitted by law. We may pause work on overdue accounts after written notice. Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced, except where the Client Agreement provides otherwise.

10. Confidentiality

We treat client briefs, business information and unreleased brand materials as confidential unless they are publicly available or we are required to disclose by law. Clients agree to keep our proprietary methodologies, pricing and non-public deliverables confidential. Mutual confidentiality terms in Client Agreements supplement this section.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, ChinCrime Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of the website or our services, including loss of profits, data, goodwill or business opportunity. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from a Client Agreement shall not exceed the fees paid by the client for the specific project giving rise to the claim in the twelve months preceding the claim, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

Website content is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free website operation.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ChinCrime Studio, its directors, employees and contractors from claims, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the website, or materials you provide that infringe third-party rights — except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

13. Third-party services and links

Our website may link to third-party sites or we may recommend external partners. We are not responsible for third-party content, products, services or privacy practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore, unless we agree in writing to alternative dispute resolution.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. The revised date at the top indicates the latest version. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms for website use. Existing Client Agreements remain governed by their signed terms unless both parties agree to amendments.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
